A mental health conference in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland on Wednesday 11 November 2026 will focus on mental health and wellbeing for rangatahi and young people.

The day has 2 keynote addresses, 2 concurrent streams and a networking event to close. Te Hiringa Mahara, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission, is running the Hauora Hinengaro Hui Taumata Mental Health Conference 2026 in partnership with TheMHS Learning Network.

TheMHS executive director Peter Gianfrancesco described the network as “a movement of people who want to see better mental health services”, said the commission’s 2025 conference report.

The conference returns to its 2025 theme to hear what has improved in crisis responses. It will also look at what rangatahi and young people want from mental health services, and at key issues for young people today.

Youth voice will be woven through the entire day, according to the commission.

The conference is on Wednesday 11 November 2026 at the Pullman Hotel in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Places are limited, and people can register now. The full programme is on the conference website.
